The DAC has computer labs in both the Midlands and Upstate offices. The computer labs are provided for people with disabilities to learn independent living skills, write a resume, advocacy, surf the web or just become more comfortable operating a computer. Individual
and group demonstrations are available.
Each office has adapted software including: JAWS, Read and Write Gold,, ZoomText and WordQ/Speak Q.
New at the Columbia Office is a Public Access Videophone! This high-quality, durablevideophone allows users to make point to point, video relay service (VRS) and telecommunication relay service calls. This access phone is free to the public and can be accessed during business hours.
